Going by the trend and release timing of other Telugu movies, Venkatesh's 'Ganga The Bodyguard' movie release date could be October 21. Bodyguard movie has Trisha and Saloni as female leads and the movie is into the last leg of production. The makers are planning to have Ganga The Bodyguard Telugu movie release date on October 21, but this thought is still in the nascent stage. Ganga The Bodyguard Telugu remake is directed by Gopichand Malineni (Don Seenu fame) and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh under Sri Sai Ganesh Productions. SS Thaman is composing the music and Kona Venkat is writing the script.
Salman Khan’s Bodyguard has been doing wonders at Bollywood box office. It has already collected over 130 crore rupees and is poised to break the record ofDabangg to become the all time top second grosser in Bollywood history. With Bodyguard doing wonders in Hindi, the expectations on Telugu Bodyguard (Tentatively titled Ganga) have risen further.
Venkatesh and Trisha are playing the lead roles in this film which is expected to release in the third week of October.Gopichand Malineni of Don Seenu fame is directing this film. The shooting is almost done except for a couple of songs.
Many films which are carrying positive buzz are releasing in October and it would be interesting to see how Bodyguard fares amidst high competition. Venkatesh has not been in best of his form these days. Hope Bodyguard breaks the jinx for him.
