Mahesh Babu is back to his record-breaking ways as "Dookudu" continues on its bull run at the box office.

The film unit gathered at Vijayawada to celebrate the 50-day-function amidst much fanfare. Many Tollywood celebrities were present at the celebrations attended by over 2 lakh fans. It is the first time since the "Okkadu," success meet in 2003, that Mahesh attended such a huge public gathering to celebrate the success of his film. He seems to be enjoying the revelry. Naturally there are great expectations surrounding his next film, "Businessman." Cashing in on the Mahesh mania, the producers of the film released the first look of the film.

Bollywood hero Abhishek Bachchan had given nod to play the hero in the Hindi version of director Puri Jagannath's upcoming film The Businessman, which is also made in Telugu with Mahesh Babu in the lead.

But according to sources, Abhishek Bachchan has walked out of the film, citing date issues. Sources close to the director have revealed that Mahesh Babu will star in the Hindi version too, thus making his Bollywood debut.

The Hindi version of the film will be shot after the completion of the Telugu version. The Businessman will hit the screens in January 2012
Yes, the official trailer of Super Star Mahesh Babu’s new film Business Man is out. Mahesh is looking handsome with rugged looks in the film. The 37sec teaser of the film has a dialogue “Nannu round up chesi confuse cheyyoddu…….confusion lo inka ekkuva kottestha.” This is going to be the punch dialogue of the movie. The dialogues of the film are penned by Puri Jagannadh himself.

Our sources claim that the movie has lot of dialogues like this. The film has completed its Goa schedule recently and the unit is flying to Europe soon.

Meanwhile, Mahesh is going to attend the 50days function of his latest movie ‘Dookudu’ at Vijayawada on November 12. Kajal Agarwal is the heroine opposite Mahesh and Thaman is the music director of the film. Stay tuned for more updates

The audio launch of The Businessman will take place on December 23rd. It has been confirmed now that the audio launch of this film in all the three languages in which it is to be released – Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam – will happen on the same day.

The film’s music director Thaman has said that the songs of The Businessman have come out very well. It stars Mahesh Babu, who is looking to expand his career prospects in Tamil and Malayalam films industries after an envious career in Tollywood and Kajal Agarwal.

The Businessman is directed by Puri Jagannath.

It seems not just the Bollywood is crazy about the Malayalam super hit Bodyguard, but even the southern industry can’t seem to get enough of it. Maybe that’s just why despite the fact that Salman Khan is already making a remake of Bodyguard by the same name in Hindi, and despite Tamil remake of the film as 'Kaavalan' already made, now there’s a Telugu remake being planned.

Southern sex siren Anushka Shetty was the neame heard along with the Telugu remake in the female lead. But now, the latest  news is, Trisha has already signed on the dotted line for being cast opposite Venkatesh in the Telugu version of Bodyguard. Confirming the news, Trisha posted about the film on her website, "I am doing 'Bodyguard' remake in Telugu opposite Venkatesh” So that’s confirmed official news now.

The shoot of the movie is expected to kick off from April 14. The Telugu version will be directed by Gopichand of 'Don Seenu' and will be produced by Bellamkonda Suresh under Sri Sai Ganesh Productions Banner. Whoever directs it is not going to be a problem as long as it brings more money to Malayalam director Siddique.

Going by the trend and release timing of other Telugu movies, Venkatesh's 'Ganga The Bodyguard' movie release date could be October 21. Bodyguard movie has Trisha and Saloni as female leads and the movie is into the last leg of production. The makers are planning to have Ganga The Bodyguard Telugu movie release date on October 21, but this thought is still in the nascent stage. Ganga The Bodyguard Telugu remake is directed by Gopichand Malineni (Don Seenu fame) and produced by Bellamkonda Suresh under Sri Sai Ganesh Productions. SS Thaman is composing the music and Kona Venkat is writing the script.

Salman Khan’s Bodyguard has been doing wonders at Bollywood box office. It has already collected over 130 crore rupees and is poised to break the record ofDabangg to become the all time top second grosser in Bollywood history. With Bodyguard doing wonders in Hindi, the expectations on Telugu Bodyguard (Tentatively titled Ganga) have risen further.

Venkatesh and Trisha are playing the lead roles in this film which is expected to release in the third week of October.Gopichand Malineni of Don Seenu fame is directing this film. The shooting is almost done except for a couple of songs.

Many films which are carrying positive buzz are releasing in October and it would be interesting to see how Bodyguard fares amidst high competition. Venkatesh has not been in best of his form these days. Hope Bodyguard breaks the jinx for him.
