Trisha Krishnan and Venkatesh in Telugu Bodyguard
Nayanthara, Asin, Kareena Kapoor and Now Trisha….Yes the list of Bodyguard heroines gets added on as the director Siddique’s film is getting remade in every languages. It seems not just the Bollywood is crazy about the Malayalam super hit Bodyguard, but even the southern industry can’t seem to get enough of it. Maybe that’s just why despite the fact that Salman Khan is already making a remake of Bodyguard by the same name in Hindi, and despite Tamil remake of the film as 'Kaavalan' already made, now there’s a Telugu remake being planned.
Southern sex siren Anushka Shetty was the neame heard along with the Telugu remake in the female lead. But now, the latest news is, Trisha has already signed on the dotted line for being cast opposite Venkatesh in the Telugu version of Bodyguard. Confirming the news, Trisha posted about the film on her website, "I am doing 'Bodyguard' remake in Telugu opposite Venkatesh” So that’s confirmed official news now.
The shoot of the movie is expected to kick off from April 14. The Telugu version will be directed by Gopichand of 'Don Seenu' and will be produced by Bellamkonda Suresh under Sri Sai Ganesh Productions Banner. Whoever directs it is not going to be a problem as long as it brings more money to Malayalam director Siddique.
There were reports that tall beauty Anushka would be the heroine in the Telugu remake of Malayalam super hit 'Bodyguard', which was recently remade in Tamil as 'Kaavalan' with Vijay and Asin in the lead.
